ALS Association Caregiver Support Group (Charlotte)
Meetings provide peer support, allow you to learn firsthand from others who
are dealing with ALS and allow caregivers to share their experiences with
each other. Members can expect to receive information about ALS,
information from expert speakers and fellowship from others facing ALS. Led
by Louise Frumkin, MSW, this group meets from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on the third
Saturday of every month at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. For

ALS Association Caregiver Support Group (Huntersville)
Meetings provide peer support, allow you to learn firsthand from others who
are dealing with ALS and allow caregivers to share their experiences with
each other. Members can expect to receive information about ALS,
information from expert speakers and fellowship from others facing ALS. Led
by Dr. Valerie Balog, PhD, this group meets from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on the
first Saturday of every month at Huntersville Presbyterian Hospital. For

MDA Resource Support Group (Charlotte)
Meetings offer patients, families, and caregivers a neutral and open place to
learn about living with ALS. Patients living with any stage of disease are
welcome, as are caregivers without patients. Led by Sarah Baldwin, this
group meets from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on the last Saturday of even months at
